UK: Hindus and Tamils join forces to highlight crisis

Hindu and Tamil organisations from across the UK have announced a campaign to highlight the humanitarian crisis facing the Tamil community.
The majority of those affected are Hindus and in the aftermath of the latest fighting between the Sri Lankan forces and the Tamil Tigers, have become Internally Displaced people (IDP).
Representatives of British Hindu organisations, including Hindu Forum of Britain, Hindu Council UK, National Council of Hindu Temples UK, Vishwa Hindu Parishad UK, National Hindu Students Forum, recently met with Global Human Rights Defence and the British Tamil Forum to discuss ways of bringing to the attention to politicians, and the public the suffering the Tamil IDPs are undergoing in Sri Lanka.
The Hindu Community has resolved to: • organise prayers in all Hindu Temple and Community Centres on 1 November 2009 • hold a candle-lit vigil in front of the British Parliament on December 9, 2009 • urge the Sri Lankan Government to allow Aid Providing Organisations to distribute humanitarian aid direct to the IDPs. • request the Sri Lankan Government to allow access to a European Delegation to visit the camps in which the IDPs are held.
At a conference held in October, representatives of the Hindu community and Tamil community domiciled in Britain offered their full support to the cause of the Tamil IDPs in Sri Lanka.
Up to a third of a million people have lost their homes and other moorings and forced to live in appalling, inhuman conditions in detention camps.
The inmates, short of drinking water, food, and healthcare, living in the midst of filth, are prey to preventable illness, infection, malnutrition, depression and other psychological disorders, resulting in large numbers of inmates dying on a weekly basis.

हिंदू शब्द कम से कम ४००० वर्ष पुराना है।
कुछ ब्लोगर्स ने आजकल हिंदू संस्कृति को बदनाम करने का ठेका ले रक्खा है वो चाहे हिंदू त्यौहार हों अथवा हिंदू देवी देवता। और इससे भी बड़ा दुख जब होता है जब हिंदू समाज के ही कुछ लोग उनके समर्थन में टिपण्णी छोड़ते है।
अभी हाल ही में मैंने एक ब्लॉग पर एक लेख पढ़ा। वह बुद्धिहीन ब्लोगर लिखता है कि "हिंदू शब्द की उत्पत्ति १७ वीं शताब्दी में हुई है।" उदहारण के रूप में उसने नेहरूकी डिस्कवरी ऑफ़ इंडिया" का उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया है। नेहरू की वह पुस्तक नेहरू की तरह झूंठ का पुलिंदा है। नेहरू अपने आप में कितना झूठा व हिंदू विरोधी था यह सच आज सबके सामने खुलता जा रहा है।
हिंदू शब्द भारतीय विद्दवानो के अनुसार कम से कम ४००० वर्ष पुराना है।
शब्द कल्पद्रुम : जो कि लगभग दूसरी शताब्दी में रचित है ,में मन्त्र है.............
"हीनं दुष्यति इतिहिंदू जाती विशेष:"
अर्थात हीन कर्म का त्याग करने वाले को हिंदू कहते है।
इसी प्रकार अदभुत कोष में मन्त्र आता है.........................
"हिंदू: हिन्दुश्च प्रसिद्धौ दुशतानाम च विघर्षने"।
अर्थात हिंदू और हिंदु दोनों शब्द दुष्टों को नष्ट करने वाले अर्थ में प्रसिद्द है।
वृद्ध स्म्रति (छठी शताब्दी)में मन्त्र है,...........................
हिंसया दूयते यश्च सदाचरण तत्पर:।
वेद्.........हिंदु मुख शब्द भाक्। "
अर्थात जो सदाचारी वैदिक मार्ग पर चलने वाला, हिंसा से दुख मानने वाला है, वह हिंदु है।
ब्रहस्पति आगम (समय ज्ञात नही) में श्लोक है,................................
"हिमालय समारभ्य यवाद इंदु सरोवं।
तं देव निर्वितं देशम हिंदुस्थानम प्रच्क्षेत ।
अर्थात हिमालय पर्वत से लेकर इंदु(हिंद) महासागर तक देव पुरुषों द्बारा निर्मित इस छेत्र को हिन्दुस्थान कहते है।
पारसी समाज के एक अत्यन्त प्राचीन ग्रन्थ में लिखा है कि,
"अक्नुम बिरह्मने व्यास नाम आज हिंद आमद बस दाना कि काल चुना नस्त"।
अर्थात व्यास नमक एक ब्र्हामन हिंद से आया जिसके बराबर कोई अक्लमंद नही था।
इस्लाम के पैगेम्बर मोहम्मद साहब से भी १७०० वर्ष पुर्व लबि बिन अख्ताब बिना तुर्फा नाम के एक कवि अरब में पैदा हुए। उन्होंने अपने एक ग्रन्थ में लिखा है,............................
"अया मुबार्केल अरज यू शैये नोहा मिलन हिन्दे।
व अरादाक्ल्लाह मन्योंज्जेल जिकर्तुं॥
अर्थात हे हिंद कि पुन्य भूमि! तू धन्य है,क्योंकि ईश्वर ने अपने ज्ञान के लिए तुझे चुना है।
१० वीं शताब्दी के महाकवि वेन .....अटल नगर अजमेर,अटल हिंदव अस्थानं ।
महाकवि चन्द्र बरदाई....................जब हिंदू दल जोर छुए छूती मेरे धार भ्रम ।
जैसे हजारो तथ्य चीख-चीख कर कहते है की हिंदू शब्द हजारों-हजारों वर्ष पुराना है।
इन हजारों तथ्यों के अलावा भी लाखों तथ्य इस्लाम के लूटेरों ने तक्ष शिला व नालंदा जैसे विश्व -विद्यालयों को नष्ट करके समाप्त कर दिए।
इसलिए मेरा सभी ब्लोगर्स से अनुरोध है कि वे किसी अध्यन हीन व बुद्धि हीन व्यक्ति की ग़लत जानकारी को सच न माने।हिंदू धर्म की बुराई करो और अपने को हिंदू कहो ,ऐसा करने से कोई हिंदू नही बन जाता।

Welcoming the Vishwa Mangal Gou Gram Yatra in Gorakhpur he said regular service to the Gomata gives immense pleasures and everybody who believes in the God must serve the cow. The Vishwa Mangal Gou Gram Yatra reached Gorakhpur passing through Azamgarh and Dohrighat where it received good response from the people. The Yatra received tremendous welcome as it reached the Gorakshanath Dham in Gorakhpur.
Yogi Adtiyanath said the original mantra of freedom struggle, which was goraksha, was forgotten by our power hungry leaders in after achieving the Independence. “That is why today both the cows and the villagers are fighting for their existence and the nation is in the grip of many serious threats like terrorism and separatism,” he added.
Drawing the attention of the countrymen to the declining number of govansh in the country he said the loss of govansh has posed a major threat to the very existence of the Hindu nation. He said today there are concerted efforts to insult the Hindu symbols of prestige. The chief of Goraksha Peeth expressed concern that despite repeated assurances by the governments the cow slaughter has not been banned in the country and prime reason of it is the division of Hindus. He said the Vishwa Mangal Gou Gram Yatra is uniting the majority community into one thread and the Yatra would not only generate a positive atmosphere in the country for cow protection but would also strengthen the feeling of nationality. He warned the nation would not be able to protect its sovereignty and culture without the protection of the cow."
